You can show control panel icon in the My computer in the windows xp. This is easy, Fisrt go to my computer and Go tools--> Folder option. Now you can see “Folder Option window”

Tick the “show control panel in the my computer” Now click “Apply Button” and click “OK” button.

How to add icon to USB pen drive.

Hi all, you can know in this post “How to add icon to USB  pen drive.”. This is easy and fun.
First you need create a icon file using Icon creator software or you can download icon files from the internet. I use Icon workshop to create a icon. You can download icon workshop tail version from icon workshop download site. After download install icon workshop using icon work shop setup file. Now open the icon workshop. Click “windows icon (ICO) in the Icon workshop start up window.

Select size “48*48
Now create your icon file using tools. After click “file” menu and select “save as” save the icon file in the USB pen drive. I save it “icon.ico”

Now You need a create a auto run.inf file  Open your favorite text editor software I also use Notepad. Type the flowing code.

Icon=icon.ico

 “icon.ico” text must be math your icon file name

Now save the text file as a .inf file. Type the autorun.inf as a file name and save it in the USB pen drive. Now all work is done. Reinsert the USB pen drive. You can see your icon file on the My computer.
